, in north-west Victoria, has a long pastoral and industrial history. It's Victoria's biggest salt lake but has been largely overlooked by tourists until now. Recently it's become famous on the internet for the 'sky-mirror' images that photographers can achieve on the lake in the right conditions.

is a unique salt lake located just north of the aptly named town of Sea Lake. Covering 20,860 hectares, the lake environment is host to Mallee reptiles, kangaroos, emus, white-faced chats, and an inland gullery. The western reaches of the lake support a large salt harvesting operation. The Mallee Rally, a dirt car racing event held on the Queens Birthday weekend every year is run on the track around the lake.

A viewing platform and information bay overlook the lake which is well signposted from the Calder Highway. From the lookout, it's possible to drive closer to the lake on a track runs along the lake's edge, but this track is 4WD only from the bottom of the hill.

Plans are underway to significantly upgrade the tourism infrastructure at , including an architecturally designed 'sky lounge' viewing platform and other amenities. The town of Sea Lake is only six kilometres away and has a range of shops and accommodation if you want to stay a while to get that perfect shot.
