Short drive from perth straight into nature
There is always lots to do down South and we love heading to Waroona. It's a lovely little town with beautiful scenery in a close location to Perth.
The Lake Navarino Holiday Park suffered during some pretty major bushfires a few years back and they have just finished rebuilding and it is definitely worth a visit.
Set on the banks of Lake Navarino, the holiday park offers a range of accommodation for all budgets and needs. Whether you want to camp or enjoy the convenience of your own bathroom and kitchen, there is something for everyone.
A stroll through the grounds will take you to the children's playground as you make your way through the stunning bushland to the lake. As well as bushwalking, you can also enjoy water sports, fishing, horse riding and mountain biking during your stay.
If you choose to take the camping option, there is a camp kitchen as well as an ablution block. For those with caravans, there is also access to a caravan dump point.
Park homes, Cabins and Cottages are another option and offer a range of different sleeping arrangements and budgets. We chose to stay in a Park Home and we found it well appointed and comfortable. The staff at Lake Navarino Holiday Park were very friendly and helpful during our stay.
The holiday park is also dog-friendly so you can take along every member of the family.
Located within 10 minutes drive of the town of Waroona with its shops and attractions, Lake Navarino is also self-contained. The reception area includes its newly opened restaurant, fuel station and small grocery store.
Lake Navarino is a beautiful spot for a short getaway or longer stay. With access to the South West region on your doorstep but only a short distance from Perth.
