Most of you probably know about the fantastic Lake Mountain Alpine Resort and view it as one of the best day-trip snow fields in Victoria. But did you know that this fantastic mountain has awesome adventure activities to participate in all-year round?

Until the 1st May, every weekend (and daily throughout the school holidays), Lake Mountain offers family adventure packages loaded with non-stop fun; for amazing value.

For only $59 (per family of 4), you will receive unlimited rides on the exhilarating Tube run, Mountain bike hire to explore the stunning trail network, access to Jumbo games (Jenga, connect 4 and quoits) and lunch in the Alpine Burger Bar.

The adults get a choice from a list of gourmet burgers and a bottle of water, and the kids a mini Mount Moo or Cluck Cluck burger and a juice. Plus a plate of chips to share.

I had a Chicken Monda burger which was AMAZING! Quite possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. It had a deliciously tender chicken breast smothered in pesto and avocado, layered with baby spinach leaves, sun-dried tomato and melted cheese. This truly was divine. Jodie sure knows how to make a burger!

Lunch for a family of 4 would almost cost the full amount of your Adventure Ticket alone.

Yet with this package deal, you also get to ride the tantalisingly twisty tube run; as many times as you like!

Here you sit in a large tube and get pushed down a twirling slide at a faster-than-expected speed.

It is fun for all ages. At first, my 3.5-year-old son was a little intimidated by the sheer size, but as soon as he saw his Daddy spinning down the slide, he immediately wanted a go, and then another and another....

The fantastic activity guide- Richard, makes sure that everyone is safe and well-hydrated and knows every aspect of the Alpine Resort. He is a wealth of knowledge and his love and dedication for the resort really shines through. He has many stories to tell; my favourite was about a proposal being made at the bottom of the tube run. Very unique.

The scenery at Lake Mountain is post-card perfect at every angle you look. Whilst you can imagine how everything would look snow-capped, seeing it in Autumn is also truly spectacular.

This Easter they are also having lots of free activities, such as an Easter Egg hunt, face-painting and a colouring in station.
