The natural beauty and wildlife at is quite captivating. The beach curves to the north, spiralling round to the west in lee of the low rocky Cordell Point and offers a sandy beach, with sand and rock flats and shallow waters... making it the ideal spot for a safe swim.
is a great place to sail safely for all experience levels. With flat water blasting, chop jumping as well as fantastic sheltered sailing with some small swell to play on. The outside of the Lagoon can get very big on an outgoing tide.
Kayaking, canoe, and snorkelling can also be enjoyed here. Do take care though as ribbon weed can wrap around fins and keep an eye out on the rocks at each end of the beach as they may have oyster shells, however, overall the entire beach is very safe.
