The iconic Lady Dior appeared for the first time on the arm of Lady Diana and has since enjoyed an extraordinary destiny. To celebrate the timeless modernity of this fashionable item, a dedicated pop-up has opened in Westfield Sydney , Level 3, corner Castlereagh St and Market St, Sydney. It shall remain till 11 Sep 2022 during Westfield's trading hours which are from 10am to 6.30pm , with extended hours till 9pm on Thursday and Sunday till 6pm.

The rebirth season after season of the Lady Dior is driven by the creative vision of Maria Grazia Chiuri. For the autumn-winter 2022-2023 women's ready-to-wear collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri has created a delicate plant, flower and bird-studded pattern inspired by a Marc Shaw photograph of Christian Dior in his Winter Garden. Over the years, this icon has given birth to a multitude of colours, sizes and exceptional materials.

The Lady D-Lite becomes a canvas for the bewitching illustration coming to life thanks to three-dimensional embroidery on a beige or white background. The House is also revealing new versions of the Lady D-Joy bag, a horizontal reinterpretation of the Lady Dior. Moved by the collaboration between Roger Vivier and Dior that began in 1953, Maria Grazia Chiuri reinvents three historic embroideries originally imagined by the French shoe designer, transposing them onto the Lady D-Joy. His archival drawings of mimosa flowers, coral and turquoise have been subtly translated into pearls applied to a black satin, highlighting the virtuoso craftsmanship of the Dior Ateliers.

The bags are adorned with their signature delicate 'Dior' charms reminiscent of the talismans that Monsieur Dior, who was passionate about superstition, always kept with him. The pop-up will carry exclusively three ultra-desirable versions of the micro Lady Dior, featuring intricate embroideries of pearls, sequins, or brocade.
