It seems to be increasingly hard to pin down the lovely ladies in our lives for a chance to spend some quality time with them. "I'm actually flat out this week but maybe next week" has become an all too familiar reply when asking to catch up with a good friend. Trying to catch up with more than one increases the difficulties exponentially and sometimes it feels like weeks, even months, go by without seeing your besties. In the name of all that is sacred to women, namely chatting and gossiping and generally having a grand ol' time together, this cannot be allowed to continue. Angie @ Angie Gluten Free felt the same and has resolved to bring us women back together with the new, and to be recurring, women's event Ladies who Lunch.

Angie is a wholefood chef committed to preparing wholesome food of the highest quality that is not only great for your body but tastes fantastic to boot. Her desire to provide nourishment for people through her delicious food combined with a passion for nourishing the soul as well has led to the logical conclusion of providing both in one event. Angie dreamt up Ladies who Lunch as a fantastic way for women to get dolled up in their loveliest frocks, meet with old friends and new, and nibble on delicious morsels whilst being inspired by the stories of marvellous women.

The first Ladies who Lunch extravaganza will be held on Sunday 7th April at Leichhardt's Flood Street Carousel and will feature a health-giving wholefood menu as well as some cheeky sweets and wonderful herbal teas for afters, prepared by Angie herself. Each event will also feature a talk from an inspiring woman to get your brain ticking and the conversations flowing, with motivational speaker and wellness coach Valerie Klagsbrun being first off the blocks.

So if you feel you're long overdue for a catch-up with your ladies, or you're in the mood for a little motivation, or you'd simply like to meet some like-minded people and be tempted by delicious food then I suggest you book your place quick as spots are limited.
