Pierre Robin Syndrome (PRS) is a condition present at birth. Infants will have a smaller-than-normal lower jaw and a tongue that falls back in the throat and obstructs the airway. Many of these infants, have incomplete closure of the roof of the mouth also known as a Cleft Palette.
On the 7 December 2013, the Pierre Robin Sequence Foundation will be hosting a Mad Hatters Tea Party. It will be held at the Hottentots Holland High School from 11 am. Tickets are R100 per person.
Apart from it being one of the best events of the year, there will be loads of prizes and entertainment. For more information and tickets you can contact Leigh on: 082 410 3197. This is truly a great cause, and every person than attends can know they are helping a little child.
