[ADVERT]This morning I got breakfast at in Melbourne Central (it's next to McDonalds as you come up from the train station).

They've got heaps of your normal bread options to choose from, as well as focaccias and croissants, and all the good fillings I like, i.e. salami, avocado, mushrooms and olives.

Prices are pretty reasonable here. My toasted tomato sandwich and skinny cappuccino breakfast cost $6.90. (You could also be slightly more adventurous than me and get bacon and egg, chicken schnitzel, or smoked salmon sandwiches, or even a baked potato!)

Their chicken is Halal:

*Tip: If you want to save a bit of money, I've noticed that all LA's pre-made foccacias are half-price by the end of each day.

I'm not always strong enough to turn down Macca's hash browns in favour of a toasted sandwich, but when I do, I don't regret it.
