The sweet taste of France
Indulge with a sweet French Crepe
Indulge with a sweet French crepe at La Petite Creperie, located on the corner of Little Collins and Swanston St.

Just follow your nose to the sweet smells of freshly prepared crepes, and you will find this former newspaper stand, converted to a 2 person run eatery.

Deliciously sweet crepes are made to order with surprisingly fast service. Choose from over 20 different sweet flavours such as nutella, salted caramel, lemon and sugar, and a variety of jam fillings. Prices range from $4 to $8, with additional toppings at $1.50. Your crepe will be served in a takeaway cone making it the perfect treat on your way to/from work, dessert after dinner, a late night indulgent snack, or at any time!

If you prefer savoury flavours, and a venue with seated areas, try their sister eatery Cręperie Le Triskel, at 32 Hardware Lane, where you can immerse yourself in everything French - wine, coffee, cider, French music, crepes ($4-$10) and galettes ($8.50-$13.50) with an extensive menu of various fillings.

La Petite Creperie opening hours:
M-Th 8am-10pm
Fri 8am-11pm
Sat 10am-11pm

Thanks for your comment Vanessa. Cręperie Le Triskel is located in the city; here is a lonk to the map. I'll keep it in mind to be more specific about the location in future.https://plus.google.com/117479201753436107434/about?gl=au&hl=en

Hello,

Thank you for your review on the French crepes, I might go there when I am in the city next and want something different.

What I notice, is when you are talking about the sister eatery Cręperie Le Triskel, at 32 Hardware Lane, you need to tell your readers if it is in the city, or somewhere else. Remember not everyone knows where you are talking about. I find when people are telling others in whatever form, they forget to say if it is in the city, Heidelberg, Preston, St Kilda or where it is. So please make sure you put the area in after the street address. Also putting a map of the sister eatery Cręperie Le Triskel, at 32 Hardware Lane would be of great assistance. I would also put the reference for the Melways in, and that could go for everyone that writes for 'weekend Notes' on any subject.

I would like to go to the sister eatery Cręperie Le Triskel, at 32 Hardware Lane, but I don't know were it is and how to get there. A few more directions would be good. I would like to go there as I like to sit down and be served as I am not the kind of person that likes to eat while walking.

Well that is all for now, keep up the good work.

Thank you and have a good weekend.

Vanessa
