The gathering spot for yogis on a break
San Agustinillo, just over the hill from Mazunte, has a few great restaurants and this is one of the favorite spots for breakfast and coffee.
Offering a view over the beach from their terrace this place is a usual gathering spot for students from the Hridaya yoga school, either for a Sunday breakfast or after a retreat on their day off.
I particularly like their Frappucinos. A delicious mix of coffee, ice cream, cream, and chocolate sprinkles.
Enjoying my Frappuccino
They are one of the few places around here that offer waffles, including whole-wheat ones, with some amazing toppings, both sweet and savoury.
Their sandwiches are also special and the chilaquiles - a Mexican breakfast dish of fried tortillas with a red or green salsa, cheese, eggs and beans are a must try.
So there are plenty of reasons to go and I haven't even mentioned the cakes yet. There is a whole case full of delicious cheesecake, chocolate brownies and plenty of other delights to satisfy your sweet tooth.
They also have accommodation here with rooms and apartments, although I can't vouch for them since I don't know anyone who has stayed here.
