With family visiting for a few weeks, my wife and I thought the lunch at the Kuta Cafe at Mt. Coot-tha would be an ideal way of showing the whole of Brisbane off at its best and grabbing a reasonably priced meal at the same time. The Kuta Cafe at the Lookout certainly offers both well prepared, delicious food and scenery to die for. To the right of the table was a panoramic view of the whole of Brisbane and the surrounding areas. The staff are courteous and helpful. The cafe was clean and provided ample seating space for the customers.
Breakfast ranged from $9.90 for a selection of sandwiches to $21.90 for the most expensive item: the Ploughman's Lunch. We plumped for the Tempura Battered Baramundi & chips, Morrocan Chicken Burger & fries and Sweet Potato and Smoked Chicken salad. Everyone was satisfied with their choice and thought the meals were provided ample portions. It is not possible to reserve a table at the Kuta Cafe.
After eating we strolled around the terrace and this gave us an opportunity to point out the landmarks of Brisbane and its locality. This was of course helped by an immaculate Brisbane summer's day, with just enough haze on the horizon to emphasise how fortunate we had been with the weather.
