Organised by two people who love the kustom culture lifestyle and bagging a bargain, the last Kustom Krafts Market at Sandgate Town Hall in September was a massive success. So much so, that this time around the market will be held at a larger venue, The Sandgate Bowls Club.

Just in time for Christmas, the Kustom Krafts Xmas Extravaganza Market will take place on Sunday, December 16 from 10am to 3pm. This alternative market is a must do for fans of rockabilly, retro, vintage, or kustom culture. With 32 stalls inside and 25 outside, you'll find a superb selection of retro clothing, pin up accessories, hot rod memorabilia, vintage vinyl, kitsch collectables, antiques, and much more.


The RSL will be running a barbecue all day or purchase a homemade, sweet treat at one of the stalls including vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free cupcakes. Or treat the kids and yourself to Spun Fairy Floss , natural fairy floss with no artificial colouring or flavoring, in exotic flavors like fruit salad, coconut, lime, mango, and more.

Take a break and enjoy a cold beer at the bar, or hit the dance floor. There'll be plenty of rockin' around the Christmas tree when local country/rockabilly band, Corn Liquor, takes the stage.


Entry to the market is a gold coin, which covers the cost of running this exciting event. Parking for classic cars has been allocated behind the Sacred Heart Primary School, while parking for 'plastic cars' is available nearby in a large, shady park.
