Head towards Richmond and up the Bells Line of Road and at the top of the hill is an amazing view. Wow wee, a grass skiing park and karting as well at the top of the mountain range, yippee.

Ski or Kart different graded runs depending on your experience head down the hill and get a tow rope back up the hill, what an option, out of my way, I want to have a go at this.

Look out below as I tumble down the hill trying to get my ski feet. Time for a lesson I think.

Lesson over, now lets try again, YES, I KNOW I CAN, I THINK I CAN, I KNOW I CAN --- I DID IT. Not the greatest skier I'm at the bottom of the hill, but definitely better than when I started.

Grass Skiing side over, next on to the Karts. Looks easy. When I first came here in the 1990's, we sat on a tyre with a rubber mudflap style brake, now days a bit more fancy four wheel steering, pumped tires, fricton handbrake wow impressive Now, time to head down the hill, simple ...... Not.

Spot a beginner by watching how they zig zag their way down the hill, then see how the pros do it, straight down and over the jumps .... oops a hedge, Hello people, on tow rope on other side of hedge, as I pull my head back. I'm right, back on this hill is not going to beat me. Many people laughing now.

Hill conquered. Soul lifted, Body still in tact, Brain maybe left in the hedge. Legs tired from walking the kart up the hill that doesn't have a tow rope, who was the intelligent person who wanted to go further.

Have some coffee, cake, relax or go for a stroll, at the top cafe, you will be impressed with the view of Sydney Basin.

What more can you want in a day. Top Place, Top People, Top Grass Ski Hill and Top Grass Kart Hill.

Fun for all experienced or pro doesn't matter. I may have tasted the blades of grass and leaves from hedges a couple of times, but I couldn't stop getting back on to have another go to further my distance.

This an experience in the mountains that you don't expect to be available, but here it is, right on the edge of Sydney. The views of Sydney are worth the look as you are screaming (literally) down the hill. Plenty of friendships are made here as much laughter and fun is had by all.

Groups, hens, bucks, parties or just social get-togethers, this place caters for all. No night time runs or bookings available.

I have been coming to this park since 1990's and will be more than happy when I can bring my child to this park for the same enjoyment I have had over the years. Nothing against the park, I still cant ski, but I can Kart.
