Take a day and Relax in your new backyard
Chocolate and Wattleseed Cake with Cream.

Kuranga is one of only a few native garden nurseries in Australia and has so much stock that it is fortunate there is also a beautiful cafe, the Paperbark onsite. They have been selling native flora since 1983 and were the 2009 Nursery and Garden Awards state winner.

Something you may not have tried before.

A Stunning Entrance
Wide doors throughout nursery for wheelchair access

The entrance is stunning and with wide doors and full amenities through to the outside, disabled access requirements were catered for.

Architecturally Designed Building with exposed beams recycled from Sydney Harbour.

It was difficult to capture the full brilliance of the flora surrounding the pond and it was lovely to have a slow walk and listen to the many frogs enjoying the light rain.

Don't let rain put off your trip. The plants looked stunning and reflected light in all directions from the water showing how colourful native plants can be. Staff handed us an umbrella, so we could enjoy the rest of the garden up to the small creek on the property.

An all Australian Creation.

Kids are well catered for both in the cafe and the gift shop and the kids' meal was so good it warranted its own WeekedNotes article.

Check out their website as you can sign up to a free quarterly newsletter. They also post their main, and kids menu which is very handy if you are on a budget. The food is healthy, creative and abundant. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.

Great to see one of local businesses featured. I just love their visual merchandising. They do it so well and the service in the cafe, shop & nursery is always excellent.
