What does a girl do after a week of studying for year 12 exams? Well, she rounds up a few friends and crams donuts, Mexican and tea into herself on a Sunday night.Donuts, donuts donuts! There's such a big buzz about Krispy Kreme, but is it worth it? Well, considering they have apple crumble donuts and even cookies and cream donuts, it is definitely worth it.About 10 minutes from the city, you will come across Krispy Kremes, next to a petrol station and close to Subway. As you walk in, you really feel like you are in America, with the big signs, two story building, and a viewing area to see all the yummy donuts.

You go either go up to the counter and place in your order as we did or if it's a lazy day, go through the drive thru.Though either way you get your donuts in their super cute boxes after you decide which donuts to buy (this is really hard as they all look at you and beg you to take them home!)

On top of the donuts, I also brought a peach and passionfruit soothie, which was honestly made of just syrup (which they didn't add enough of, so if you are like me it was tasted very watery) and some form of milky substance, not the best but its an experience.

For some reason I got a free Glazed donut, SCORE! So the bad drink was redeemed in my eyes, I mean c'mon free donuts fix everything (I think this was part of their deal if you get a box of four a drink).

Any who, Krispy Kremes are to die for, they are different to any other and if you haven't tried them, get yourself down there. The donuts are lusciously soft, creamy and sweet; buy your self a cookies and cream or apple crumble... or maybe even both.

After eating too many donuts, we of course had to have dinner and what better place than Melbourne Street's Montezuma. This was my first time and I have to say it is very 'homely', nothing fancy. It is all table service, the waitress was very nice and the food itself is eatable, but I have to say it isn't very appetising to the eyes.

The nachos we ordered had a heap of mushy, brown beans on the bottom creatively covered up by the tortilla chips, it didn't taste too bad but I think a plate from Zapata's looks and tastes a lot better.

Since you are in Melbourne Street, head down to Elephant Walk; it's a cute little tea/dessert bar.

The atmosphere is what's great here, its quiet, dark and blissful. You will sit in your own little area, sipping on a drink and enjoy your night away. But be aware, there is a $5 minimum spend per person if you are going in a group. Customer service is lovely here and the tea is delightful, brewed to perfection. They serve it with two cups and there's enough tea for about three cups all together, so it is such a good price if you are a tea lover!

I hear they also have desserts which are meant to taste delightful, I think it's a clear indication I have to go back and try them out!
