KDR started as a love of dancing to Korean Pop (K-pop) music and has transformed into weekly dance classes, both for beginners and intermediate level dancers, with a number of public performances under their belt!
Each year they hold "Solo Slamdown", allowing the students to learn and perform a solo piece as well as their sub-group performances in October and their end of year showcase, the "Supershow".
This year the dancers were offered a chance to perform at the Taste of Asia Festival, performing routines to K-pop sensations Girls Generation, EXID, BigBang, Sistar, the widely-known PSY and many more.
KDR's dance classes officially start Thursday, February 25 at the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts, 59 Shafston Avenue, Kangaroo Point from 6pm. $15 for beginners and only $10 for intermediate dancers! Get ready to learn PSY's "Nepal Bahji".
