I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Let It Snow
Staying on the snow adds a whole new dimension to a skiing holiday. Charlotte Pass Ski Resort is wonderful place to experience on snow accommodation, especially for first timers or those returning to skiing after a long absence.
There are various ski lodges at Charlotte Pass, but the hub of the resort is Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel. Originally built in 1930, it offers great ski-in ski-out facilities. Don your skis at the front door and head for the nearest lift.
To reach Charlotte Pass one must take oversnow transport from the Perisher Ski-Tube station. This transport is included in your accommodation package, but must be booked. Getting here can be quite a challenge, but I feel it adds some adventure to the total experience.
Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel
Although the runs are not as large or as challenging as those at Perisher, the resort is much less crowded, lift queues are short and you get plenty of opportunities to perfect your snowsport skills in peace. The views at the top of the range are amazing and can be appreciated in silence. All the usual facilities, such as equipment and clothing hire, instructors and lessons are available and all service is delivered with a smile.
This is a very friendly place to visit as you become part of a community whilst staying here. On the slopes you will meet up with other residents and there are plenty of chances to socialise at one of the bars or organised social events.
The rooms are compact and cosy, but have an ensuite and most have views. There is a variety of accommodation packages that include breakfasts, evening meals and lift tickets as well as wonderful facilities for families. Frosty's Chill Out Zone provides complimentary child minding & entertainment for guests aged 3-13 years.
Kosciusko Chalet Hotel is a picturesque historic building that provides affordable on-snow accommodation options for couples, groups and families.
