Kooky Costumes is a great fun shop run my by two extremely helpful fabulous entrepreneurial women, Tracey and Naree. I met them after following my own inner Inspector Gadget urge to check out their intriguing shop.
My alter-ego was delighted with the numerous costumes that it could consider and the wigs, oh the wigs!
There is much fun to be had at Kooky Costumes where you can indulge your inner child and play dress up, hire your perfect outfit and be the Bell of the Ball! Or a Gypsy, or on Baywatch.
Be a Gypsy with a Kooky Costume
Tracey and Naree had a dream of opening up their very own Costume Hire shop. About two years ago, they began to pull together their costumes collection. Once they felt they had enough choice, they decided the time was right to officially open Kooky Costumes doors to the public in March 2013.
They have something for all sorts of occasions:
Race like you're a Melbourne Cup Jockey
Sing 'In the Navy' - I keep hearing the Village People while writing this suggestion
Construction Worker - YMCA style, or not
Adventure out in a Safari Suit to 'bird watch'
Be Ned Kelly for a night, "Hands up Boys, this is a Robbery!"
Dance your heart out Bollywood style
Recline with grace as Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra
Be the Queen of France, Marie Antionette
Sexy up as a Saloon Girl or serve as a Beer Wench
Be a Gangster, like Bugsy Malone (for those who remember that old movie)
Fight glorious battles as a Gladiator just like Russell Crowe
Be Scotty and tell 'em, "For Love of God, don't use those torpedoes." Indulge your hidden Star Trekkie
Matrix, 'Neo, you have been down that road before. You know where it goes."
Be a Knight of Ni!
A Unicorn - I kid you not!
Indulge your own little bit of raunchy Burlesque like Christina Aguilera
Sing "Let's do the Time Warp again", Rocky Horror Picture Show style
Yell, "Brrrrrraaaaaiiiinnnnsss," as you shuffle your Zombie-self toward the waiter at the next party table.
Honestly, Kooky Costumes have a great choice of dress up options for your next party or fun night out.
