Located next door to Saizen Sushi Bar , Koko Thai is a good place to enjoy eating Thai dishes. The restaurant is quite popular with the locals with a fairly large crowd when we visited. Complimentary peanuts are served to each table to help curb hunger while waiting for your meal to arrive.

While its description may suggest the dish uses a whole snapper, the snapper in Koko Thai's Crispy Snapper is actually fish fillets which make eating the dish a breeze. The fish was fried to golden brown with the red curry paste giving the dish a spicy taste with a hint of sweetness. A bit of extra texture was also provided by the fried basil leaves.

The beef in their Pad Ko Pao Beef was cooked just right with the various vegetables having the right amount of bite to them. The sauce that the ingredients were stir-fried in gave the dish a bit of punch without being too spicy.

Offered as a special during our visit, the chicken in the Grilled Chicken with Tamarin Sauce was cooked to perfection with a delectable char-grilled flavour. The small serving of salad helped to add an element of freshness to the dish and the tamarin dipping sauce can be used to add a tangy taste to the grilled chicken.

Ambience of the restaurant was very good with the tables spaced a good distance from each other. If you own an Entertainment Book , you can enjoy 25% off your total bill by using the gold card.
