Guests can dine a la carte on modern Japanese dishes or teppanyaki a style of Japanese cooking coming from the words 'teppan' meaning iron plate and 'yaki' meaning grilled, boiled or pan-fried. Literally translated it means grilling on an iron plate.
Teppanyaki is not only a great meal but comes with its own entertainment, guests seated around the teppan grill and the chefs performing intricate manoeuvres with knives, forks and spatulas as they prepare, cook and present their dishes.
Common ingredients used in western style teppanyaki include beef, chicken, scallops, prawns, lobster and vegetables cooked in soybean oil. The end result is a gastronomic delight.
