Always a big deal, look forward to the Knox Carols at Wally Tew Reserve FTG at Brenock Park Drive, Ferntree Gully. The event will be held on Saturday 14 Dec 2024 from 4-10pm. It's going to be a festive evening of carols and family entertainment at this free event. Come along and enjoy the spirit of Christmas and a magical evening of entertainment. Put on your best Christmas attire, bring an LED candle or torch, a picnic rug, low back chairs or backrests but please leave your pets at home, unless it's an assistance dog. This is a drug, alcohol, smoke and vape-free event. Unfortunately, there'll be no fireworks this year, due to works on the second oval.

Enjoy pre-show activities from 4-8pm, which include roving Christmas performers, kids activities, face painting and more. Knox Factor Grand Final is part of the pre-show entertainment, as are Knox City Sings (community choir), Kim Annette Dance Studios, and DanceXpress Academy. The main carols concert runs from 8-10pm, with Bernard Curry as MC for the night. Amongst your entertainment are the Royal Australian Navy Band Melbourne, Halo Ensemble and Soloists, Shannen Wick, Thomas McGuane, Caitlin Spears, Carla Venkataya (Knox Factor Winner 2023), and 3D Arts presenting Santa's arrival. Take a break from the kitchen and enjoy dinner at the event with delicious food and beverages for sale.
