Ever heard of a kebab drive thru shop? I went past the first one ever made in the world which is located in Tingalapa, Brisbane just the other day called K-Kebab Drive Thru.
I was very surprised that they have a drive through kebab store because it is a hassle and lots of hard working making a fresh kebab from scratch.
K-Kebab is open every day between the hours of 9am till 9pm and you can even dine-in or take-away. It does not only sell kebabs, it also has kebab sandwiches, burgers, coffee and traditional Turkish sweets such as baklava and kadaif.
The service was really good and the boys were very fast workers who took pride in their job, smiling and without the usual 'who's next' sort of tone and expression you often see in drive thru fast food restaurants.
In a matter of short minutes, me and my partner had two kebabs were filled with much more ingredients than regular kebabs, it was bursting with fresh melted cheese and spicy jelepinos.
As the website itself says, the owner of the shop has a motto which is to think of making kebabs as art, and he is the artist. He also rubs this onto his employees I believe, who make the whole process seem as though they are decorating something making the kebab seem even more delicious than ever.
If you're ever in a hurry or late for a meeting or picking the kids up from school, don't forget to stop by at Tingalapa K-Kebab for a delicious lunch or dinner.
