Here in St Kilda, the Zu Boardsports' store has lessons for everyone to get started.
Earlier in the day, I spoke with Jim who, in his sixties and his friend who was in his seventies, had just finished a day kite-boarding. Thus, age is no barrier if you're a confident swimmer. Even then, there are plenty of places where you can get swimming lessons in the area if you want to improve your strength in the water.
Here is a quick short video report I compiled yesterday, to give you an idea about kite-boarding in the suburb of St Kilda.
The images did not turn out so well because I was shooting with a digital Canon and the editing software I have is incompatible and switches automatically to 3D. You can change from 3D to 2D by moving your mouse over the video and where it shows the little red 3D sign, just change it to 2D. You will see better colour and images.)
