My favourite spot in Barcelona
This incredible mural is made up of thousands of ceramic tiles. Each tile is printed with a person, place or event depicting freedom. These photos have been taken by local residents and it was designed by artist Joan Fontcuberta. A local newspaper called for the residents to send in photos that represent a moment of freedom. The mural was installed in 2014, as part of Barcelona's Tricentenary celebrations, and it commemorates the fall of Barcelona during The War of The Spanish Succession. This is a wonderful, unique place to visit in Barcelona and is one of my favourite spots in the city.
