Lets kids climb the playground - not the walls
This playground is old enough to still have a tambark floor, so kids end up looking like they've been cleaning chimneys. However, it's a cut above the usual playground in much the same way Kippax shops are a cut about the usual local shops.
The playground is a climber's delight with the usual ladder and slide, plus a circle ladder and an enormous spiderweb frame that's a teensy bit daunting even to the average adult.
The tunnel has a marvellous echo and there is a regular and a child swing slightly separated from the playground proper. But the best thing about this playground is that it's next to everything a parent is likely to need (including free parking) - a library, post office, woollies, aldi, bus stop, and café.
