When one wants nothing but to love, how far will they go for this passion, desire and want?
Kinski & I is an autobiography that was banned and pulped immediately after the release. This jaw-dropping and dark findings performance is presented with both humour and brutal depravity.
This performance is certainly not one for all, but the wickedness, ego-maniacal, sex obsessed and insanity of this prolific movie star 'Klaus Kinski' indisputably captured me with its intensity and darker side of life to one man's desire of love.
It was filled with moments of shocked laughter that instantaneously turned into gasps.
The ninety minute performance was presented beyond my expectations and knowing a little about Kinski, I certainly attended with an open mind.
Sex is highly mentioned in all forms, graphic highlights of paedophilic interests are read out and inexplicably the reader attempts to draw occasional parallels between himself and Kinski, making it an interesting aspect of this performance.
If you have never heard of Klaus Kinski or Werner Herzog, do not worry as you will certainly be struck dumb with this hilarious, very dark, bizarre, and certainly insane show.
Kinski lived an extreme life that on any single day he might end up in a stranger's bed, a brawl, prison cell, an accident, a pregnancy or a lawsuit, as quoted by Kinski "I want nothing from my whoring around but to love..." CJ Johnson quoted that Kinski "was mad, tormented genius, but he may also have been a monster"...
The life of Klaus Kinski and his promiscuous acting career was created into an intriguing display with his outrageous story of his life.
The performance was one of a kind and certainly did get us talking about the event thereafter and I'm ashamed to admit, I found this performance to be enjoyable, engrossing, fascinating, and well performed- do leave your moral compass at home for this event!
Without spoiling this event furthermore, you must see it to believe in one man's life as a bona fide sex addict, manic and one of the most successful screen actors of all time.
