Well-lit space for a quiet escape
Ever found yourself wishing for a little peace and quiet after a long day of shopping and getting lost in Dubai mall? All you have to do is climb to the top floor of the mall and enter the magical book world of KinoKuniya- a Japanese bookstore with a surprise. The further you walk into the bookstore, the quieter it gets. Near the middle, you will find the KinoKuniya café - a well-lit and airy café overlooking the BurjKhalifa Fountains from a different view.
Because of the daylong silence, it's a good place to sit, relax and unwind after a long hard day. You have the option to sit on an individual chair in the "work space", complete with a plug per chair and a portable table. The "work space" is a good place to work, study, send emails or browse the Internet.
It is also a good place to try different kinds of tea – I personally recommend the Special Earl Gray tea, Sencha Green Tea and their Sumiyaki Coffee. Their food is light and easily digestible as well – Tuna Brothers is great for tuna lovers that want a light lunch. KinoKuniya café was created primarily to give readers, those who are too eager and don't want to leave the bookstore, a quiet venue to enjoy their books whether on a weekday or weekend.
