Kingston Heath Parks stands out more for convenience than a destination, but in saying that the play equipment is very good, with lots of variety that will keep children of various ages amused for a while.

The positioning of the park is both the attraction and detraction, for simple reasons. If you love to shop and you have children with you it's a great compromise as directly opposite the playground is Moorabbin Direct Factory Outlet (D.F.O). Unfortunately it's located near a very busy road with only the car park separating the road from the park and any chance of a quiet play in the park will be dashed with trucks and traffic in an industrial type area, not to mention the airfield.

The playground is very well set out with two main play areas, the first is for toddlers with a smaller timber climbing frame with slide, fire truck, swings and the other side has a bigger timber construction with dual slides, spiral slide, wooden bridge and below there's a spinning tea cup, flying fox, whizzy dizzy, sand pit with diggers and a climbing zorb like ball.

If the kids just need a good run there is plenty of green space available, perfect for kicking a footy or playing tiggy and walking paths that would be suitable for bike riding.

As for facilities there is a good shelter, BBQ's, picnic tables, water, toilets and plenty of car parking.

Have fun at Kingston Heath Reserve.
