The beautiful Bayside suburb of Carrum will erupt with harvest foods, country and blues, and bundles of fun at the
Kingston Harvest Festival on Saturday, May 14th at Roy Dore Reserve. This annual community festival is a much-anticipated event that packs in fun and entertainment for all ages - for just $2. It would have to be one of the best value for money festivals in the country.

This year's headline acts include Aussie rock legend, Jon Stevens, and
2009 Female Artist of the Year at the Country Music Awards, Catherine Britt. Sing and dance along from 11am until 11pm for 12 non-stop hours of performances by some of our finest country, bluegrass and rockabilly artists. Toss in some folk, alternative country, Western swing and soul - and you've got a mixed bag of marvellous music and fun.

Take a break by popping into the Harvest Kitchen for a kitchen demonstration or two (they're on every hour) and exploring the range of fresh harvest foods offered direct by the growers. Take your time to savour it slowly, as it is dedicated to Slow principals and well worth lingering over.
