Event:
City of Kingston Harvest Festival

The City of Kingston's 10th Autumn Harvest will be a non-stop revelry of bluegrass, country and rockabilly under the 'Big Top' at Chelsea's Bicentennial Park this May.

The Harvest Festival is a large scale, family friendly community event incorporating an unlimited selection of music headlined this year by The Four Findlay Sisters (aka Victorian rockers, Stonefield) alongside fresh, locally produced food, market stalls, licensed bar and amusement rides.

Last year's event featured roving entertainers including stilt walkers, real scarecrows and circus style entertainers. There was a one-man-band and billy carts to ride in. Lots of local community stalls and displays, cooking demonstrations and fresh produce, Girl Guides sold biscuits and treats, and the live animal farm and hay play kept kids busy for hours. All this in addition to an endless stream of great music sure to keep you dancing all day and night long.

While you're there, don't walk past the Green Hub. There will be plenty to see and do inside. Participate in one of their sustainable workshops

Due to the construction of the Carrum Family & Children's Centre, the Kingston Harvest Festival has moved this year to the Bicentennial Park, Cnr Thames Promenade & Scotch Parade, Chelsea.
