Lovely park in CBD
Kings Park caters to all ranges of people! One of the most popular occurrences at Kings Park are wedding ceremonies! In fact, I would even say you are unlikely to spend a day at Kings Park without at least seeing one wedding. The stunning backdrop of the flora with the city peeking behind it is ideal for wedding pictures.

One of the second most likely ways to spend your day at Kings Park is at a picnic. The park is sprawling with lush green lawn. This together with the large shady trees that are scattered throughout the park create the perfect environment for a summer's day picnic and if your not one for picnicking, there are a few cafes to choose from at the park and they all sell decent food.

Home to the "KokodaTrack," this 150 step memorial walk attracts fitness fanatics from all over! The track itself is challenging enough and most people finish it off with a jog or walk through the garden. Who wouldn't want to exercise in such a beautiful environment? I would not recommend the track for anyone not prepared to get their sweat on.

Leading on from the memorial walk, Kings Park is also popular for its war memorial. This is where the city holds there ANZAC Day ceremony and people often visit to pay their respects.

Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, Kings Park has a vast variety of flowers, trees and shrubs. It's lovely to walk through the different areas of the park and take in the different flora that occurs in each location.
