Friends, Family and Facepainting Fun
Each Sunday the iconic Kings Beach Tavern holds its Family Fun Day. Situated across the road from the Kings Beach Ampitheatre and only 100m from the beautiful waters of Kings Beach, this is a fantastic afternoon for the whole family.
The menu at the Tavern has an Aussie feel and is quite wide ranging and the food is always good offering steaks, seafood, chicken, burgers and pizza. We loved the Sandcrab and Avocado on Wholemeal for lunch. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer and then watch on while the kids get their faces painted and enjoy the jumping castle.
The seaside setting begs you to meet family friends for a catchup lunch to enjoy the sunshine while the kids are kept happy with a range of activities close by.
Once lunch is finished, the Kings Beach area has a great kids play area and outside the surf club is a fantastic salt water pool which gets filled by ocean water. The pool has a shallow area for toddlers and young children, as well as ramp into the pool for elderly or disabled, or those who just need to submerge gradually into the cool water.
