Fabulous line up of jazz musicians
This boutique jazz festival in the heart of the city is for all lovers of jazz. Entitled the King St Corner Pocket Laneway, there will be some outstanding talent performing at this festival.

King St Corner Pocket will showcase some incredible established local talents, as well as some up and coming talent. This festival will definitely be fun-filled and it will all be in a spot where you hardly have to walk to hear a new sound.

Each festival performances will last for between 30 and 40 minutes long. This is a great idea as it will give you time to go get some drinks, or food before going back into the cold to hear/see the next colossal performance!

WAYJO stands for West Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra Association and their purpose is to "engage and challenge emerging jazz musicians". They also help to inspire them to reach their greatest potential and to get audiences by giving exceptional performance experiences.

Why not celebrate WAYJO's 35th anniversary in style with a selection of performances at His Majesty's Theatre (Downstairs at The Maj, and Dress Circle Bar), the InterContinental, Perth City Centre, Kailis Jewellery, and The Sewing Room.

This will be held over 3 nights and WAYJO's Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Night Orchestras will be joined by a fabulous line-up of performers showcasing many styles of jazz, plus original compositions at this inaugural event;
