Conquer the mountain
Explore the Perth hills by foot during this 16.1 km trail run from Helena Valley to Mundaring on Sunday June 29th. Now, running 16.1 km is not for the faint-hearted but as with most of the West Australian Marathon Club's events, jogging and walking are welcome. Children can also participate in this event, however under 16s are invited to complete the 10 km or 5 km options only.

If stunning scenery, fresh air and the chance to win prizes aren't enough to entice you to do the King of the Mountain run, all participants also get fed at the end of the run!

The course starts at Helena Valley Primary School at 8.00am. Participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes early. There will be a bus available to bring you to the start line from the finish line at Mundaring Weir, where you can park your car. The bus will be leaving from Fred Jacoby Park at 7:15am on race day.

The event costs $5 for WAMC members, $20 for non-members and $1 for under 16s. Register online by 5pm on Friday June 27th or on the day, at least half an hour before the race starts. Find out more here or by phoning 9472 4833 (or 0417 777 032 on race day).
