Located along Hutt Street,
KIn Kin Thai Eatery specialises in offering Thai cuisine. Service was efficient, our dishes did not take long to be served after we had placed our order.
The flesh of the Steamed Barramundi Fillet was juicy and retained its texture. The mushrooms had a slight chewy texture, and the bed of bok choy retained its crunch. The ginger-infused oil and soy dressing gave the dish a delectable, savoury flavour, which did not mask the flavour of the ingredients.

The pork belly in the Phrik Khing Moo Grob was not tough, and the crackling was crisp. Extra crunch was provided by pieces of pork rind that were cooked separately. The green beans had a nice firm texture, and the spiciness of the homemade ginger and chilli paste is suitable for most tastes. Kaffir lime leaves imparted a hint of its distinctive flavour to the dish.

Offered as a special during our visit, the green morning glory in the Pad Pak Boong Phai Dang refers to the vegetable known as water spinach. It had a vibrant green colour, and the stems were not too chewy. The soybean paste complemented it nicely and chilli provided a hint of heat. Take care with the chilli slices as they are quite spicy.

The restaurant had an Asian feel with a good amount of seating. Groups of at least four people can request a “Pin-To” (a complete meal) if they have trouble picking the dishes they want themselves.
