Okay, now I'm into lazy relaxing drives in the country. I love pottering along stopping to take the odd photograph and taking in the scenery. There's something, well, serene and beautiful about it. Relaxing too.

But every now and then you come across a road that really should be experienced on ...

Yep, a motorbike.

Now I'm not suggesting you act recklessly, what I am suggesting is this - if you've never been on a motorbike in your entire life, may I suggest you try it at least once?

Besides, some roads need to be experienced with the wind against your skin and the sun shining on your face. Yep, some roads are simply MORE joyous when, on the back of a bike you get to lean into those corners ...

The subsequent road?

Between Pomona and Kin Kin on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
It's only a fairly short ride - 20 minutes if that, but worth every moment. It's very clearly signed, in fact, you can't miss it and rather than coming back the same way you can either head to Boreen Point and back to Noosa, or onto Rainbow Bay a little further north.

Of course, you could also stop off at the Kin Kin pub for a bit of R & R. Or in this case, lunch whilst listening a spot of live music.
