Are you an old hippie or always wanted to visit India but haven't made it yet? Like something a bit alternative and quiet? Then the family owned Kimnat Café and Little Market is just the place for you.

Done up with a bright cheerful Indian décor, Indian incense and a real hippy feel, this café is very popular with the locals and has various spots for a private chat or just to chill out. Enjoy the streetscape from their front garden or verandah, sit inside or down the back, where there is even more space to enjoy.

Staff are friendly and helpful. There is an assortment of alternative cakes and slices and all the drinks you can imagine, including smoothies. A great menu is available with meals in the $15-16 range with some cheaper snacks. The meals are deliciously fresh, well presented and a nourishing treat.

The gift shop has a broad range of the usual Indian products with more from Nepal and Bali, including incense, scarves, clothing, notebooks, ornaments and jewellery, with a mass of dream-catchers. Be sure to peruse their community pin board to get the real feel of local life.
