Join as they delve into recipes inspired by Rohan Anderson, and his book Whole Larder Love.
Grow — Gather — Cook is an interactive, hands-on workshop that will take you back to basics, from growing produce, to picking and preparing seasonal ingredients for cooking. You will then create dishes using fresh, organic produce supplied by Basil's Farm Garden, and put together a banquet for everyone to enjoy.
Kiltynane Wine's own gardener, Ben Shaw, will be leading discussions on biodynamic principles, how they are applied to the farm, and ways to grow your own produce at home. It is a down-to-earth, practical approach to sustainability through cooking.
This workshop and the recipes are inspired by Rohan Anderson, a hunter-gatherer who is passionate about sourcing real food and reconnecting with nature.
For just $75, you will enjoy a lunch banquet cooked in the Basil's Farm Kitchen, with a glass of wine. You will also be receiving a mini gift box of fresh produce and relish from Basil's Farm at the end of the day. Places are limited, so make sure you book in early.
