The Kids & Youth Disability Expo is a one-stop shop for the latest products and services available out there for young people with disabilities. Over 120 exhibitors showcasing the latest means it's a way to discover that something new that could improve quality of life that little bit more.
The event will be held at the Priceline Stadium, 155 Railway Terrace, Mile End and it's hosted by KYD-X. Entry is by gold coin donation ($1-$2) which will be paid at the event on Saturday 12 October 2019 from 10am to 4pm. The stadium allows for great access to the venue with plenty of free parking and excellent accessibility to all exhibitors.
By chatting to the exhibitors, families and carers can make informed choices about the equipment, therapies and treatments out there available to them to maximise the impact of their NDIS funding. The service providers include both registered under the NDIS and non-registered providers at the expo.
Though KYD-X, a not-for-profit organisation, continues to focus on the services and products for children, they're broadening their vision to meet the needs of teenagers and young adults as well and that includes education, social activities, employment services and independent living assistance.
