This 2 hour activity on Saturday, 28 January 2023 invites children aged 8 and up to develop personal resilience, build self confidence and tenacity, safety and situational awareness and also build on the family bond. Rockhampton will be located at Rigarlsford Park , on 205 Elphinstone Street, North Rockhampton.

There will be 2 level skills offered by Tyrone Kolbe, an outdoor enthusiast with over 25 years of wilderness and mountaineering experience:
1. Level 1 : introduction to survival skills, such as building a shelter, filtering and purify water, flint and steel fire, finding food and compass navigation.
2. Level 2 : bushcraft and primitive methods, such as learning how to make your own boomerang, primitive fire making, natural shelter, spear fletching, making primitive traps and natural navigation.

Book here for level 1 (8 to 10am) and level 2 (10.30am to 12.30pm).
