Kids Superhero's Come Alive at St Marys Band Club
No matter what age we are, memories of watching childhood superheros on television can come to mind quickly when discussing the shows we liked and the superheroes we looked up to and aspired to be. We imagined we were them or were part of their team rushing off to save the world. I know I loved Mister Magoo, Atom Ant, Kimba the White Lion, The Mighty Thor and Mr Stretch. It puts a smile on my face when I see children of today dressing up in costume representing their superhero.
On Saturday 21st July 2018 children will have the chance to dress up and show their powers on the dance floor for a "Kids Superhero Themed Disco". This disco will be held at St Marys Band Club, St Mary's. This event is free and will have prizes for the best dressed. A live DJ will entertain on the night, which runs from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. This is not a late night for small children.

The club is situated in the heart of St Marys and is a premier venue in Western Sydney offering quality entertainment, relaxing atmosphere and excellent facilities. Its history traces back to the formation of the St Marys District Band in 1882. Joe Armstein, a local businessman gave the band a property containing a hall in 1923. The modern version of the band grew in 1952 when members of the band reclaimed their hall and through fundraising and changes to liquor laws sparked the idea to own their own club to keep the band afloat. In 1966 the club was granted a license.
Put a smile on your child's face as he or she enjoys a night of comradeship and heroic dance floor moves. For more information on the night, please contact the club on 02 9623 1211.
