A Magical Afternoon of Classical Music

This May, the whole family can enjoy an afternoon of classical music magic with the Ku-ring Gai Philharmonic Orchestra. The Kids' Proms concerts are aimed at children under 10 and are an entertaining way to introduce young audiences to the magic of classical music, conducting and musical instruments.

This annual event promises to inspire a love of classical music through an afternoon filled with fun and entertaining activities for parents and children alike.

The hour-long concerts are designed to allow the audience to engage with the musicians and conductor in an informal setting that's perfect for young audiences. The concerts will feature some well-loved classical music by famous composers like Kabalevsky, Rachmaninov, Brahms and Beethoven.

There will be 2 concerts held on Sunday the 27th of May at 2pm and 3.30pm at the St Ives Uniting Church. Individual tickets cost $12 for adults and children or you can purchase a family pass for $40. The shows are conducted by Peter Ellis and narrated by Emily McKnight.
