Gold Coast families and parents-to-be are invited to enjoy a jam-packed weekend of education and entertainment at the Parenting Fair, held at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, November 17-18.
The events previously known as the Kids Expo and the Pregnancy and Baby Expo, have joined forces to create the Parenting Fair.
This all-inclusive event will play host more to than 100 informative exhibitors and keynote speakers sharing their offerings and knowledge on every stage of parenthood from planning and pregnancy, to baby, toddlers, kids and tweens.
Unified Events spokesperson Kiara Sullivan said the decision to combine the two expos was an easy one in order to offer an all-encompassing expo experience for Gold Coast families. "No matter what stage of parenthood you are at, the need to be informed and educated is of the utmost priority for mums and dads," said Mrs Sullivan.
"The Parenting Fair brings together a collective of like-minded suppliers and professionals to offer parents the latest in products and services for everything from pre-conception and pregnancy to family wellness, nutrition, growth and education, maternity fashion, toys and games, clubs and sport, family lifestyle, travel and leisure and more."
For easy browsing, the fair is separated into two sections: one area dedicated to planning, pregnancy and baby, including a luxe parent lounge, while the other area will be kitted out with everything for toddlers to tweens.
Complementing the innovative offers of products and services is a selection of educational parenting workshops, product demonstrations as well as stage performances and activities for the kids.
The event's New Parent Hub is sure to be a hive of activity as well with free workshops scheduled over the two-day event. Here, parents can lap up information provided by industry experts on pre-conception planning along with specific workshops for expecting and new parents to enjoy.
Those with little ones in tow will also enjoy fun kid's activities with Scout's Rock Climbing Wall and Bettina Model Management shows, coupled with a Reptile Class and TV special guest characters.
Visitors at this year's fair are ensured a fun day out with the opportunity to pick up plenty of parenting tips, tricks, and unique products. From the latest children's fashion and accessories to advancements in educational play, suppliers for your child's next birthday or a new hobby, there is plenty to be discovered.
