Thinking of school holiday activities with a difference? What about a cooking class where your kids actually learn about where our food comes from?

These classes are all about what foods are in season in autumn and what can be cooked from them. Each class is different and you can book them separately or all 3 to take advantage of the Earlybird discount.

Running these classes is 100 mile foodie is a cooking school and catering company based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. The focus of the classes will be teaching children not just about cooking but also the importance of growing and harvesting local, sustainable & ethically farmed produce.

Children can expect hands-on classes, free from parents (who are not allowed to attend the classes) and cooking with autumn vegetables, fruit, herbs & even edible flowers. Using vegetables currently growing in the 100 mile foodie kitchen garden and how to use these vegetables to make healthy, tasty and engaging recipes with some fun thrown in will all be part of the session.

These classes are for budding cooks who like an element of the unknown as the menu will be created dependent on what is harvested on the day. You can book single day or multiple day tickets here. But hurry, tickets are limited!
