Calling all active kids aged 3 – 12 years to sign up in support of Peninsula Health's Children and Adolescent Health Unit at the Frankton Hospital.
For the first time ever, kids will be able to run alongside the historic stream train K163 to help raise money for this important community service. Kids running for kids!
The Kids Fun Run with K163 is being held on Sunday 17th April 2016, starting at 10am from the Moorooduc Railway Station, 460 Moorooduc Highway, Moorooduc.
Being held in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Mount Eliza, the target amount of $5,000 is still a long way off. Registration is $20 per runner and all participants are encouraged to seek sponsorship for their efforts, which will be used to buy new state-of-the-art, child-friendly beds for kids staying at the Frankston Hospital.
Entrants will be divided into age groups and the runs will range from 150m for 3 year olds, up to 1,200m for 9-12 year olds.
Each runner receives a show bag.
Train rides, food and drink will be available on the day.
Register online up until Friday 15th April. Registrations are also available on the day at the event location.
