The Brightest Star Holiday Workshops for children at Venue 114, 114 Sportmans Parade, Bokarina between Monday 10 December and Friday 14 December. Ten sessions are available over the five days for children aged between seven and seventeen years of age.
Kim Schoenberger's Brightest Star workshops will explore traditional Origami - the Japanese art of paper folding - and modern design techniques to create colour and texture on paper. Students will design their own original paper using paint transfer and frottage techniques, then create two stunning origami stars, one to take home and one to hang on the installation wall for the
'You're the Brightest Star' exhibit.
Children under sixteen years of age will need a completed parental consent form to attend
The Brightest Star Holiday Workshops. Please print out the parental consent form, fill it in and bring it along to the event.
