For a family day out over the June long weekend
On Monday the 12th of June, you can spend some time with the family at various wineries across McLaren Vale. Suitable food options and beverages will be available, plus kids-friendly entertainment. So get the children ready and head down for the McLaren Vale Sea & Vines Festival.
At Bent Creek Wines, you can indulge in casual cuisine created by executive chef Pepe Reyes while giant Jenga and bocce keep the kids entertained. Garfish with Thai salad, gourmet seafood paella and gourmet vegetarian paella are on offer.
At Coriole, your kids can get their faces painted and bounce their feet on the bouncy castle. Chef Tom Reid will be offering a range of dishes for lunch. These include spit roasted lamb, lemon pepper grilled chicken, spice fried calamari, chicken souvlaki and fried haloumi.
At Doc Adams Wines, kids entertainer Mr Oopy will be holding kids shows throughout the day. Your children can also sing, dance and enjoy a kids disco. You can relax with a create-your-own cheese and produce platter.
At Kay Brothers, your kids can either join an archery class or have fun with lawn games. Dishes on offer include bbq smoked beef brisket and pork sliders, pea and chickpea falafel slider, beef lasagne and Belgian fries.
And last but not least, the Visitor Information Centre lawns will host over 50 market stalls with local produce, arts, crafts, souvenirs, etc. Bring a picnic rug and let your kids enjoy the bouncy castle. Some of the best food vans will be available as well as De Lisio wines.
