School holiday music with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra
Do your kids love music? Then check out the Kids Cushion Concerts held at the base of the Nishi Grand Stair, inside the impressive Nishi Building in the NewActon Precinct. Kids take their own cushion and then settle in for musical fun and entertainment!

The Canberra Symphony Orchestra will take parents and children (aged 3 - 8 years old) on a musical journey around the world. Each school holiday concert takes kids to a different continent of the world, exploring music by composers from that region and musical instruments from the orchestra. Accompanied by the adventurous narrator, Matilda, young listeners will hear a range of classical music, as well as learning folk songs from around the world.
