Kids Cooking Classes at Burattini's

I am always on the lookout for new and fun school holiday activities in my local area. So I was pleasantly surprised when I came across a flyer for some kids cooking classes this coming January.


The location for the classes is Burattini's, a popular pizza, pasta and Lebanese restaurant in Panania, in the south west of Sydney.

Kids can nurture their love of cooking with the following classes:

Giant Cookie - children will mix, colour and decorate a giant Rice Bubble cookie to take home and enjoy. There is a class for 6 - 7 year olds as well as a mum/dad and bub class for children 5 years and younger.

Pizza and garlic bread - children will mix the pizza dough from scratch, make the pizza sauce, chop up toppings, assemble and cook their pizza and garlic bread. There will also be food games including taste testing and food knowledge. These classes are available for children aged 8 - 13 plus years

Sausage rolls and ice-cream muffin - children will mix the mince, roll the pastry, fill and fold their sausage roll. They will also make a cookies and cream flavoured ice cream to fill their muffin before decorating to their liking. There will also be food games including taste testing and food knowledge. These classes are available for children aged 6 - 13 plus years.

Classes will run from 13th January - 24th January 2015 and bookings are essential. Each class is for a particular age group. For a listing of all the dates, times and age groups check out Burattini's Facebook page .
