Looking for something different, fun and energetic to do these school holidays?
PaddleNSW has just the thing.
If you'd like to try your hand at paddling, then come along to the Penrith Whitewater Stadium on 16 April 2016, from 2-4pm. This is a FREE event where kids will get the opportunity to learn how to paddle under the guidance of elite Australian representative paddlers.
The kids will get to meet Rio-bound and Penrith local, Ian Borrow, and London Olympian, Jo Brigden-Jones. These two power-houses will be there on the day to guide and give your kids some great tips on the finer points of paddling.
PaddleNSW will be providing all the equipment needed to have fun and be safe on the water so all you have to bring is yourself!
Not only is paddling a great activity and good fun, there are so many other benefits of participating in this exciting and growing sport. Take a look at this
article to find out why you and your kids should be persuaded to paddle.
If you'd like to give paddling a go, register via this
